Canberra MDN race 2 yesterday, JOHAANA was severely blocked for a run down the straight and powered home to come a very close second. Without a doubt it would have won and appeared to out-class its competition. The weight band was only 56-57kg in the race (JOHAANA carried 56kg) but under similar conditions, this horse should certainly have its chance to cross the line first next time!

Keep a look ou for it.

Ran a similar race on 21/8/2009 at Canberra but very wide barrier (15 on unitab) only managed 5th - did not see race, but worth another look?
